The House
The Chesapeake Vacation house is a vacation property available for rent throughout the year. It is located near St Michaels, MD and sits on the Choptank river. The property holds an acre of land including a water pier for boating or fishing. Nearby towns have shops and restaurants.
Location
The Chesapeake House is located near St Michaels, MD in a secluded cove. The house sits near the river with breathtaking views of the water. Waterfowl can be seen year around including Osprey and other birds. A private dock allows easy access to boating on the river and the Chesapeake Bay. Nearby is the town of St Michaels which holds numerous attractions for the visitor.
Amnenities
Our vacation house holds all the comforts of home and more. There two bedrooms with double beds and a third guest room which has a twin bed. The living room has large bay windows and a large screen tv. Our kitchen has been remodeled and has new equipment including a new stove and refrigerator. A backroom has wicker furniture for reading or just relaxing. The house also has central air conditioning and heating for year around comfort. Both the front and back areas of the house has ample yard space for dogs and children. A ground pool is built into the side of the backyard for convenient swimming. The front yard ends at the river dock and the water.
Nearby Attractions
Nearby attractions include the town of St Michaels, numerous local marinas and piers, restaurants, wildlife santuaries, and opportunities for boating cruises. The land is perfect for biking and is nearly flat througout the pennisula. The town of Easton is nearby which has ample shopping opportunities and there are many parks in the larger area surrounding the house.
Rates
At present we charge $800 for a week stay, year around at our vacation house. Weekends are available in the Spring for $300. We ask for a $300 security deposit as well as half of the charge upon reserving the house.
